My commercial art is what pays the bills while the fine art is what makes me who I am. Don't get me wrong, I love creating commercial pieces. In fact, I find it essential and in some facets, namely in the creation of logos, a very underrated art form. In a sense, I see logos as possibly the closest artistic relative to the primitive designs one might find in our ancient ancestor's cave dwellings. So needless to say, I take the commercial aspect of my art very seriously.
My fine art is my passion. Many of my pieces deal with things going on in my own head, life, or the way I perceive society. Other pieces are merely for design, thus have no profound intent.
My aim for my fine art is to leave an impression after viewing. If not positive, my wish is that it at least makes some emotional impact on you. Whether the impact is dissent for my sometimes negative outlook or a glimmer of hope, at least it provoked some thought.
